COVID-19 Testing FAQ's


How does the testing work and who is eligible?

Anyone. Any age, any insurance, or no insurance are eligible for testing. 
In order to be tested you must have a mask or face covering.

Rapid testing is performed on-premises with results available in about

15 minutes. PCR and serology specimen(s) are collected and sent to the lab for testing.

Typical turn around time is 2-4 days.

The lab is an outside laboratory. The office does not have control over lab turn around time.

Do not contact the office regarding your results.

We recommend to enroll in the "Healthy Together" App 

from the Florida Department of Health to retrieve results when they become available.


How can I schedule an appointment to be tested?

Please review the following informational steps:

Active Patients:Contact the office regarding scheduling.

Non- Active Patients: Complete the COVID-19 Testing Consent Form

(found on the right side of this screen)

& call to schedule your testing.


What do I do when I arrive to the testing site?

When you arrive to the testing location,

please notify the front desk that you have arrived for your appointment.

You must have a mask on at all times.


How much does it cost?
Payment is accepted via Cash or Credit Card* 

*Credit Card payment is preferred via the online payment page (green button)

Active Patients With Insurance:

Subject to insurance benefits i.e. (Copay, Deductible, or Co-Insurance)

Adult or Non- Active Patients With insurance:

Please see available packages on the left. With the exception of rapid COVID

testing, specimens will be sent to Quest for testing. Depending on your insurance and

member benefits you may receive a bill from the lab for the specimen testing.

They are an outside laboratory and the office does not have ANY control over their billing.

Patients Without insurance:

Please see available packages on the left. With the exception of rapid COVID
testing, specimens will be sent to Quest for testing. 
Please note: Once payment is collected, if you choose to cancel your

appointment there will be a $5.00 service charge per patient.


What test(s) are being collected?

This is dependent on which testing package is requested.

It will either be a Nasal Swab or Blood Draw, or both. 


How do I get my results?

We recommend to enroll in the "Healthy Together" App 
from the Florida Department of Health to retrieve results when they become available.

What do my results mean?

In order to interpret your results, use the link labeled

"COVID-19 Testing and Interpretation sheet." If you need further clarification,

contact your healthcare provider or the nearest health department

to help you understand the next steps you should take.
